Whatever a young person's gift, be it words, music, art, a camera, a cause, a kitchen, or a microphone, there's a Rotary competition for them. All open to young people up to 17 (age ranges vary by competition) across District 1220.

Young Writer

Let your imagination run wild — get creative with the written word.

Age range: Up to 17 (3 age groups)

Key dates 2026-27: Local Heats: Jan 2027 · District Final: Mid-Mar 2027 (local deadline 12 Mar) · National Final: 30 Apr 2027

Young Musician

Share your gift of song or mastery of an instrument — performed live.

Age range: Up to 17 (vocal / instrumental)

Age range: 11–17 (2 age groups, teams of 3)
