Long Eaton Dawnbreakers are sponsoring this event following great success at the first presentation at Bestwood Lodge a while back.
We are now giving Rotarians and members of the public another opportunity to hear Val’s inspirational talk on Wednesday 16th September 2015 at The Chatsworth Arts Centre in Long Eaton. The talk starts at 7.00pm and it is free entry albeit donations on the door will of course be welcome.
To reserve your places to avoid disappointment, please contact Andris Mierkalns on 07969 092311 or firstname.lastname@example.org
Many Rotarians enjoyed Rob Caskie’s talk on The Anglo-Zulu Wars last year and he is returning in October to Long Eaton. This time he will enthral us with stories about the intrepid explorers Robert Falcon Scott and Ernest Shackleton and their contrasting but heroic attempts to reach the South Pole.
The talk will take place on Thursday 16th October 2014 at The Chatsworth Arts Centre in Long Eaton, commencing at 7.30pm. Tickets are priced at £12.50 and all profits go to End Polio Now.
As tickets sold out well ahead of last year’s event, anyone interested in hearing Rob on his brief visit to the UK should contact Paul Burrows as soon as possible on 07539 228682 or via email at email@example.com
